Domestically, The Hammer Nutrition/CMG-Racing Team will participate in many of the major national level junior races on the USAC (governing body of bicycle racing in the U.S.) calendar for the 2011 season. The team domestic racing program is also determined by sponsor marketing and promotional needs. In addition, in-state team members will participate in a 16 week Portland Metro road and circuit race series held at PIR (Portland International Raceway) and Mt. Tabor Park as well as weekly events on the Alpenrose Velodrome. Out-of-state riders participate in regional mid-week events in their respective areas.
Internationally, For the past four years Hammer Nutrition/CMG-Racing Team members have represented the United States as members of the U.S. Junior National Team in overseas events. Our current roster of contains several riders who are on the national federation development squad. So far this season a Hammer Nutrition/CMG Racing Team member has already participated in one of the federation trips to Europe.
